Thanks to everyone who reported the bug! I changed a lot of things in BOOPER's code in an attempt to optimize it a little, I can't say with certainty that there won't be any more bugs with basic features, but please report them if they do occur

⚠️ The bug that enabled users to ban or kick members without the necessary permissions through context menu interactions has been fixed!

It was something very simple that I should've seen the first time, sorry about that. BOOPER will now check for permissions for normal interactions and context menu interactions.

📯 Playlists work again, BUT

I got the Spotify playlists to work again, only downside is that the thumbnails will be missing. I hope I will be able to find a solution for that as soon as possible

⚠️ I am aware of the error that occurs when trying to play some playlists!

Unfortunately for me, it's an issue with the packages that I'm using, meaning that I will either have to find a work-around or wait for the developers to fix it.

💵 Quick preview for a planned economy feature!

I have been planning to add an economy feature to BOOPER that will be more complex than what I usually see, but still very user friendly.

There's not much to show yet, just the general idea and the first two commands I have created.

Feel free to use those as much as you like, but your account balance will be reset once the feature is complete!

A few bug fixes:

+ Improved the slow update interval on the statistics site

+ The yet to be completed profile page now shows your avatar as well (because why not?)

🎵 Spotify links work again!

Just noticed that Spotify links were still affected and would show up as private, that has been fixed now!

Looks like YouTube changed something on their side, luckily I found a workaround that works, sorry for any inconveniences!

Update: Seems like YouTube has blocked all videos related to music from being played externally. That's just an assumption based on a few tests.

Note: Spotify links are also affected, I will try to find a workaround for at least those.

👤 The join and leave embeds might look a bit dull at first, but will offer a lot more customizability compared to the embeds in the previous version of BOOPER! Those will include all of the options previously available, including customizable embed images, invite options, roles, and more! This will give you the ability to either make them very detailed, or compact, whatever fits your server's needs.

🔥 NEW FEATURE! Global Custom About Me

The profile section on BOOPER's webdashboard is now available to everyone!

You will be able to create an About Me, similar to the one Discord provides, but with a higher character limit (~900 characters)

This About me will be shown to everyone using BOOPER's /user command on you.

NOTE: I already have a few ideas for more profile features, so stay tuned

Here's a quick demonstration video! You will be able to remove your image at any time. If you accidentally clicked on "Remove" you can go to the dropdown menu and select "Cancel Remove" (2nd picture)

NOTE: I recommend using images that have a resolution of about 1024x450px or an aspect ratio of 2.28:1. Otherwise your image may look a little stretched. I'll definitely fix that in the future though!

🌻 Option to show inviter available on the dashboard!

If you enable this option you will be able to see who invited each new member as soon as they join, or if they joined through a vanity url!

NOTE: Members won't be able to re-use other invites since the invite link will always remain hidden (unless it's the vanity url of course)

KEEP IN MIND that BOOPER needs the "MANAGE SERVER" permission to get access to your invites! Otherwise this feature won't work!

🌸 Greet and Leave messages can now be sent in SEPARATE CHANNELS!

You will now have the option to separate greet and leave message into two different channels!
